High Reliability Designed In For Business Critical System

Dublin, 1st October 2007. Meteor Mobile Communications, Ireland’s fastest expanding mobile operator, has selected server and storage experts Redstone Technology to design, deploy and support a € 1.2M, HP-based server and storage platform for its new billing system.

For both the production and test environments the system comprises HP Integrity rx8640 servers with dual core Itanium 2 processors running HP-UX 11i. These are back ended by HP StorageWorks XP12000 disk array.
