8th June 2009 The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), the UK’s leading business organisation, is to provide its members with a recession busting, subsidised telephone cost saving initiative which could save its members collectively over £10 million in a year.

FSB Telecom’s Business Care package entitles the FSB’s 215,000 members to business line rental, 24/7 support 4hour response, call diverts and messaging for just £12.34 a month, the comparable monthly package from BT being £20.17. In addition members will be able to get new business lines installed free of charge or free UK landline calls.

The initiative will be delivered by FSB Telecom which offers telecommunications services exclusively to FSB members.  Its partnership with Redstone Telecom enables the delivery of cost-effective solutions to FSB members with the support and backing of one of the UK’s leading telephony and network-based service providers to the SME sector.

On top of that FSB Telecom customers will save 50 percent on local calls, 75 percent on national calls, five per cent on calls to mobile phones and up to 88 per cent on international calls compared to current BT standard business rates.
