Redstone has been Becta accredited since 2000 and is the only
non-educational organisation connected to the SuperJANET national education network. This enables Redstone to help schools fulfil their statutory requirement to connect to SuperJANET, saving time and money through its expertise in cost-effective connectivity across leased lines and a range of bandwidth speeds.

Redstone is constantly innovating and developing new services, the most recent of these being WebXchange Examination Management System (EMS) and RedProtect Email.

WebXchange-ems is a high security, web based, file transfer and management system, giving schools a straightforward, cohesive and auditable process from inputting exam entry details through to receiving results.

The system adds to the functionality of Redstone’s existing WebXchange service by enabling schools to manage and submit entries and format and analyse results data into the management information they require, such as year groups and subject areas. LEAs also benefit from the way the system reduces human effort and the risk of error by using it to transfer administrative files.

SuperJanet

JANET is the UK's education and research network for UK Universities, FE Colleges, Research Councils, Specialist Colleges, Adult and Community Learning providers and schools, serving over 18 million end users.  Redstone's IP Network has a direct connection to JANET and the National Education Network (NEN). WebXchange

WebXchange is a secure, flexible, easy to use web-based file transfer system designed for the UK education sector. Access to the Internet, a standard web browser and a user name and password are all that are required to use the service.
