Tariq Saied
Managing Director

Tariq was appointed Managing Director of Redstone Managed Solutions when the business unit was set up in October 2005. Since its setup Managed Solutions has achieved Microsoft Gold accreditation, has set up a new sales force and has provided key wins for Redstone such as the Network monitoring for Ascot race course.  

Tariq joined Redstone as part of the Xpert acquisition, previously having been the Xpert IT director since March 2004.

He has over 20 years experience in the information technology and outsourcing industries. 

Before joining Xpert Tariq was European IT technical director for Iron Mountain leading the team setting up the European data centre.

From 1996 to 2002 he worked in a number of divisions of Hays plc finally in 1998 being the IT director of Hays Information Management Solutions.  Here, he oversaw the replacement of a legacy 40 site operational system over 18 months.

Tariq holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Tariq is married with three children, an ardent supporter of Manchester United and an avid fan of The Sopranos.

Martin Blackhurst
Director of Operations - IT Security

Martin is responsible for the IT Security Business providing expert pre and post sales support and consulting. He joined Redstone through the Tolerant Systems acquisition, having been Tolerant’s Technical Director for over six years.

He has over 24 years experience in the IT industry working for Perot Systems for six years as network Manager at the East Midlands Electricity account replacing their legacy SNA systems with an IP based network to over 30 sites.

Prior to that he spent four years as a Senior Systems Engineer within ComputerGroup/SHL Systemhouse as an IBM RS/6000 and NetWare specialist.

Martin is married with two children and enjoys family life, along with his passion for fishing.

Matt Brittan
Director of Operations - IT Solutions

Matt is responsible for the IT Solutions team which provides IT consultancy, support and software development services. Matt joined Redstone Managed Solutions in 2006, bringing over 10 years IT experience in a wide range of roles including software development, business analysis, and project/IT management.

Matt holds a BCom degree in Computer Science and Accountancy and is currently working towards an MBA specialising in IT Management.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys travel, diving, skiing and cycling.

Paul Myhill
Financial Controller

Paul joined Redstone in September 2000 as a Cost Centre Accountant, and since that time has progressed through various management accountant roles to Business Analyst and was recently promoted to Financial Controller for the division in September 2005.

Paul has over 21 years experience in finance and accounting roles in the IT and telecommunications industry, having previously worked for ICL for 5 years and Northgate Information Solutions for 11 years.

Paul is a keen golfer, and also enjoys watching cricket and motor sports.

Jon Nowell
Director of Operations - ISP

Jon holds a BSc Honors Degree in Business Information Technology and a CMI Diploma in Management.

Jon is married with two young children and enjoys travel, DIY and spending time with his family and friends.

Tracey Platt
Director of Operational Support

Tracey joined Redstone as part of the Tolerant Systems acquisition.

Having joined the Tolerant Group of Companies in 1999, Tracey was appointed as the Commercial Director in October 2000.

Prior to Tolerant she spent nine years within the HSBC Group, latterly as Relationship Manger for First Direct.

Tracey is currently working towards a BA in Business Management, and has also recently enroled with CIMA.During her spare time Tracey enjoys horse riding, learning Spanish and spending time with family and friends.

Mo Ramzan
Finance Director

Mo has held senior positions in EDS and Hays plc. He progressed his way through a local firm of Chartered Accountants and qualified as an Accountant in 1997 going on to complete an MBA in 2001.

He is married with two children and enjoys playing squash and reading. His most common catchphrase is “Focus on the solution, not the problem”.
