Dublin, Ireland, Friday May 5, 2006… Redstone Technology, a specialist in providing leading edge computing solutions, was last night confirmed as the runner up to the ICT Company of the Year and Best ICT Company to Work For in the 2006 ICT Expo Excellence Awards.

The 2006 ICT Expo Excellence Awards ceremony, now in its sixth year, was hosted at a prestigious gala dinner in the Burlington Hotel on Thursday May 4th. RTE Television and Radio personality Marty Whelan presented the awards as more than 200 ICT professionals gathered to witness the winners of the ‘Oscars’ of Ireland’s ICT industry.

Redstone secured the position as runner up to the ICT Company of the Year for excellence in marketing, implementing and supporting ICT solutions. Redstone was also commended for its ability to demonstrate outstanding business performance throughout 2005 in terms of growth, profitability and market development.

Redstone was also shortlisted and a finalist for the newly created Best ICT Company to Work For Award. This new award recognised Redstone’s employee satisfaction and growth through its training and human resources policies.
